Cloud protection: All traffic from the Puffin application to the Puffin server is encrypted, protecting against hackers. It's safe to use unsecured public Wi-Fi via Puffin, but not at all for most browsers.
Save your bandwidth: Puffin uses a proprietary compression algorithm to transmit web data to your device, and you can save up to 90% of your bandwidth while browsing the web. (Please note that streaming Flash content or videos requires more bandwidth than normal use.)

– Puffin is blocked in some countries (e.g., in China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) and by some schools (e.g., in the United States).
