Prospekt is not an official sequel to Half-Life. However, the game uses the Half-Life universe, as well as locations, characters, and data from Half-Life 2. It is a fan-made game created by Richard Searbook, which has just received approval from Valve to be published on Steam.
Half-Life fans have been waiting for years for a third installment of their favorite game, to no avail. So, one of these fans decided to create his own sequel, called Prospekt, which takes place directly within the Half-Life universe. Gordon Freeman finds himself trapped in the Nova Prospekt prison, where he receives unexpected help from a "forgotten hero." The game took its creator 18 months to complete, and he worked primarily on the project alone. He used the game files from Half-Life 2, recreating its world within his own title.
