PopChar is a utility that gives you quick access to all kinds of special characters and makes it easy to add them to any document. Whatever font you use or character you need, you'll quickly find it within this handy application.
PopChar works with all modern applications that support Unicode. It makes it easy to navigate and search through fonts containing thousands of characters. Search for characters by name, find fonts that contain specific characters, explore font character sets, collect your favorite characters, and insert HTML symbols.
You can access this application at any time by clicking the tiny icon of P in the upper left corner of the screen. There is also an option to configure a direct key if you prefer, making it easy to access all the special characters contained therein at any time.
PopChar 7 introduces a new "Shape Finder," which lets you draw the shape of a character on a yellow, Post-it-like sliding search sheet to tell PopChar what you're looking for. This sounds like a great idea.
