The foreign hand
After announcing to her husband that she was leaving him, Hartenia is involved in a car accident. She escapes death, but suffers a head injury resulting in an extremely rare neurological dysfunction: "alien hand syndrome." At any time, against her will, the young woman loses control of her hand.
