Create 2D games from scratch with Unity
While it has always been possible to create 2D games with Unity, a complete module specifically designed for 2D game development appeared with version 4 of the software and has continued to evolve up to version 5, which we have today. Now, when you create a new project, you can select the 2D option to indicate whether your game will be entirely in 2D. By doing so, you will gain access to all the features dedicated to 2D.
