A total disappearance that lasts twenty-four hours before the men rejoin their unit. Where were they? What did they do? June 2003. A double murder in the Rambouillet forest. Two strangers, two ordinary citizens, executed in cold blood. Assigned to the case, Commissioner Evelyne Delmas is baffled.
