Deep Freeze is software that allows you to restore your computer to its original configuration every time you restart it. This gives you the ability to freeze your system for unrestricted use while being protected from configuration errors, viruses, and malware.
Main features
Once properly installed, this program memorizes the original system, application, and data configurations. The user can then choose between "frozen" and "thawed" modes to determine whether or not to allow changes to the machine. By freezing system and application settings, as well as hard drive layouts, Deep Freeze Standard prepares the computer for restoration. Following the user's commands, it recovers all configurations after each Windows startup.
In "frozen" mode, this software provides good protection against viruses and unwanted applications. Malicious elements may be present while the computer is in use, but these intrusions will be removed upon startup.
Deep Freeze Standard supports all types of hard drives and partitions. It is compatible with SCSI, ATA, SATA, and IDE standards, as well as FAT, FAT32, and NTFS file systems. Computers with multiple operating systems do not present any problems.
