Gearotic is a 3D CAD/CAM software designed to assist with your custom mechanical designs. Primarily conceived as a gear model generator, it has been expanded into a utility package that we hope you will find useful. Gearotic will generate individual gears or combine them to create a moving gear train. The software allows you to simulate, animate, and create toolpaths for CNC machining or export as 3D models. Inside, you will find a variety of gear types such as spur, cage, non-circular, planetary, pinion, timing pulley, bevel, root blower, Geneva, rack, exhaust, and more. Our spur gears can be created in helical or conical shapes, which can then be printed in straight, helix, or zerol formats. These outputs include STL files for 3D printing, 2D DXF format for most Cad programs, 1:1 large-scale printing for woodworking designs, or G-Code for CNC users.
