Media Player Classic – BE (Black Edition) offers moviegoers a modification of the famous Media Player Classic, an improved version that makes it easier to use and more ergonomic.
Detail The application retains the multimedia compatibility (MKV, WMV, MOV, MP4, MPEG2, TS, AVI, OGM, OGG, MP3, etc.) and advanced functionality of Media Player Classic Home Cinema, but adds, at first glance, a navigation panel that is much more modern and pleasant than the original.
New features This includes features for playback with "Fullscreen" and "EVR Sync Settings," which include configuration options not present in the original versions. Finally, an "Interface" setting has been added to facilitate customization of your favorite player, notably allowing you to configure the theme color, the OSD (On Screen Display), RGB components, anti-aliasing, and more.
Open source The term "open source," or "open source code," applies to software whose license meets criteria precisely established by the Open Source Initiative, namely the possibilities for free redistribution, access to the source code, and the creation of derivative works. Made available to the general public, this source code is usually the result of collaboration between programmers.
Open source has already permeated all major areas of the French public administration's information system: server environments, application domains, engineering tools, network solutions, and security. Open source solutions are now on par with proprietary solutions in the public sector software landscape. Decision-makers are increasingly making informed choices, systematically comparing proprietary and open source solutions.
