Disk partitioning
PartedMagic has the tools to get the job done. With the partition editor, you can resize, copy, and move partitions. You can increase or decrease the size of your C: drive, create space for new operating systems, and attempt to recover data from lost partitions.
Disk cloning
Clone an entire computer disk or a single partition. The cloned data can be saved as an image file or as a duplicate copy. The data can then be backed up to a locally connected storage device, an SSH server, a Samba server, or a network file system share. The clone file can then be used to restore the original when needed.
Data recovery
PartedMagic lets you easily reset or change Windows passwords. Recover lost files. Save files from devices with disk read errors.
Disk Erasure
PartedMagic comes with easy-to-use solutions for conventional erasure. Secure internal erasure. Wiping of only the free space.
