In the same vein as Spybot Search and Destroy, an excellent program we highly recommend, SpyHunter is software that allows you to search for and remove malware and spyware from your computer. While this software offers a complete scan of your computer for adware, spyware, malware, cookies, and Trojans, you won't be able to remove detected threats unless you purchase the full version. However, advanced options allow you to monitor and protect your hosts file and DNS settings. The free version's features are limited to threat detection. The full version, however, offers features such as scheduling scans and, most importantly, repairing errors. SpyHunter boasts a clean and user-friendly interface. However, the excessive number of analysis results and the mandatory purchase to repair them lead us to doubt the credibility of the software and its publisher, who has been repeatedly criticized in the past for its aggressive marketing techniques and noted for the low level of trust users place in its products.
