SystemRescueCd – a Linux-based recovery disk available as a bootable CD/DVD-ROM or USB drive for system administration and data recovery after a crash. It contains tools for working with the hard drive: partitioning, diagnostics, preservation, and restoration. It also includes tools for configuring the network, network services, search tools, rootkit removal, and antivirus software. It can be downloaded from the CD-ROM, a USB drive, or a network via PXE.
SystemRescueCd comes bundled with many Linux programs, such as system tools (parted, partimage, fstools, etc.) and basic tools (editors, Midnight Commander, network tools). The bootable disk can be used on servers, Linux, and desktop computers running Linux or Windows. The kernel supports basic file systems (ext2/ext3/ext4, ReiserFS, Reiser4, Btrfs, XFS, JFS, VFAT, NTFS, iso9660), as well as network file systems (Samba and NFS). You can also use Hiren's BootCD WinPE10 Premium.
