Microsoft is paving the way for cheaper Windows machines by offering manufacturers a Bing edition of its operating system.
Microsoft has finally officially unveiled Windows 8.1 with Bing, a new edition that will power a multitude of tablets and budget computers showcased at Computex. As leaks predicted since early March, Microsoft will offer incentives to partner manufacturers who choose Internet Explorer as their default web browser, with Bing as their homepage and search engine.
