RAR is an Android application that compresses and decompresses files quickly and easily, allowing you to save disk space on your device and easily manage your files. RAR can create RAR and ZIP archives and decompress RAR, ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, 7z, ISO, and ARJ archives.<\/p>\n

List of functions:<\/strong> repair command for damaged ZIP and RAR files, benchmark function, resume recording, regular and recovery volumes, encryption, solid archives, use of multiple CPU cores to compress data.<\/p>\n

In addition to standard ZIP files, the decompression function supports ZIP and ZIPX formats with BZIP2, LZMA, PPMd, and XZ compression, including password-protected ZIP files. The Unrar command is available for all versions of RAR archives, including the latest RAR5 files, password-protected and multipare files.<\/p>\n

\nWinRAR and Android RAR were unable to decompress other ZIP archives encrypted with non-English passwords. WinRAR 5.60 (upcoming) and this RAR version fix this. "Name encoding" in the Android version settings is used as the ZIP password encoding during extraction if the default UTF-8 encoding fails.
