Now, without further ado, let&#039;s get down to business\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As a reminder, Apple strictly forbids installing its OS on any system other than a Mac computer.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Prerequisites<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>A computer with OS X (Mac, PC, virtual machine)<\/li>\n<li>An Intel PC<\/li>\n<li>A USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of storage<\/li>\n<li>An internet connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trucnet.com\/en\/mac-os-x-yosemite-10-10-pc-hackintosh\/\" target=\"_blank\">1. Download OS X Yosemite<\/a><\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">2. Create the bootable USB drive<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We&#039;ve covered creating a bootable USB drive in many tutorials. Above all, do not touch the drive until the process is complete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Finally, all you have to do is download\/unzip and drag and drop <a title=\"Download Multibeast\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tonymacx86.com\/downloads.php?do=file&amp;id=247\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b>MultiBeast<\/b><\/a>\u00a0on your USB drive to complete this step.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">3. Configure your PC<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Configuring the BIOS or UEFI is an important step. If it&#039;s incorrectly configured, it will prevent OS X from running properly. Generally, here are the settings to change first:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Load Optimized Settings if possible<\/li>\n<li>Choose the mode\u00a0<strong>AHCI<\/strong>\u00a0for SATA if it hasn&#039;t already been done<\/li>\n<li>Disable\u00a0<b><span class=\"goog-text-highlight\">VT-d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 if your processor supports it<\/li>\n<li>Disable\u00a0<b><span class=\"goog-text-highlight\">CFG-Lock<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li>Disable the\u00a0<b>safe boot mode<\/b><\/li>\n<li>If you have the choice of <strong>Operating System Type<\/strong>, choose Other.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This step is important, don&#039;t neglect it!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">4. Install Yosemite<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Let&#039;s now begin installing OS X on your computer:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Turn on your computer<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong><em>F8<\/em><\/strong> Or <em><strong>F12<\/strong><\/em> to choose the bootable USB drive<\/li>\n<li>On the startup screen <strong>Chimera<\/strong>choose your <strong>key<\/strong>\u00a0<b>USB<\/b> and press <b>Entrance<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you encounter problems during installation, you will need to (at a minimum) type <strong>-x<\/strong>\u00a0to validate and therefore launch the installation. Also test one of the following parameters\u00a0<b>GraphicsEnabler=Yes <\/b>(if you have an nVIDIA 9xxx, 2xx, 4xx, 5xx graphics card)<b>,\u00a0<b>PCIRootUID=0 <\/b><\/b>Or\u00a0<b>PCIRootUID=1\u00a0<\/b>(black screen problem) or even\u00a0<b>npci=0x3000<\/b> (disables the integrated graphics card). Also, don&#039;t forget the <strong>-v<\/strong> which allows switching to verbose mode. Note that the settings are not the same as for preparing a USB drive. Multibeast is an all-in-one post-installation tool that will activate the boot disk (on your PC), install the necessary files for audio, networking, and graphics cards.
