YouTube Downloader is software for downloading videos made available on streaming sites. The list of sites with which YouTube Downloader works is quite long, but, and this is important to note, YouTube regularly protects itself against this type of action; therefore, YouTube Downloader cannot (at the time of writing), and this is ironic, download videos from YouTube.<\/p>\n
The software's interface is quite simple; admittedly, it does what it's supposed to, but it's far from trustworthy. Furthermore, YouTube Downloader doesn't win the race in terms of the number of compatible sites. A real disappointment, then.<\/p>\n

\nWhen you install YTD Video Downloader, the software will offer other programs, but you can easily decline this option by clicking "No." The installation process is then very quick. Once complete, YTD Video Downloader launches automatically. The interface is quite intuitive.
\nAs soon as you copy the web address of a video clip to your clipboard, it detects it and pastes it into the URL field. You can then download it in high definition at 1080 pixels, or in a lower quality.
\nSimply click on the big red "Download" button at the bottom of the window: YTD Video Downloader will instantly start the download.<\/p>\n
\nThe Activity window displays the status of your downloads. According to our tests, a three-minute video takes approximately one minute to download.
\nYou can then play the video you just downloaded from the Activity tab, or from the Play tab. In the Activity tab, a context menu (which appears when you right-click) offers the option to play the video from YTD or from your default player, but also to delete the video, pause or stop it, rename it, etc.<\/p>\n
