AnyDVD is developed by the same publisher as CloneCD. This software isn't really software at all, but rather a driver that sits between the DVD, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray player and Windows, removing various copy protections on the fly.
The DVD, HD-DVD, or Blu-ray disc can therefore be played by any application without region coding or copy protection. With AnyDVD, all copying software that doesn't support copy protection becomes functional on a protected DVD, HD-DVD, or Blu-ray disc.
AnyDVD also allows you to watch media with a region code different from that of your player. A nice bonus: you can control the player's rotation speed to reduce noise.
