Tails is a live operating system whose purpose is to preserve your privacy and anonymity. It helps you use the internet anonymously and bypass censorship almost everywhere you go and on any computer, but leaves no trace unless you explicitly request it.
This is a complete operating system designed to be used from a DVD, USB drive, or SD card, independent of the computer's original operating system. It is free software based on Debian GNU/Linux.
Tails comes with several pre-configured built-in applications with security in mind: web browser, instant messaging client, email client, office suite, image and sound editor, etc.
Protecting your privacy and anonymity:
